Which instrument's accent are you referring to?
The most well-known and characteristic accent, that of the TB-303,
affects several parameters; amplitude, envelope shape & time, ...
Roland's drum machines have a simpler accent that IIRC only increases
the amplitude by raising the trig pulse.
How many volts the VCA CV should change? It depends on the sensitivity
I guess, some accent gain measure would be more relevant.
