[sdiy] Any Juno 106 80017a socket recommendations?

I've just got a Juno 106 with a malfunctioning 80017a IC. I'm thinking about removing all the resin coated chips (including the M524As or whatever they're called) to remove the resin as a preventative measure. I've read some people add sockets in their place to make future removal/replacement easier. Are there any recommendations for the kind of IC sockets to use for this job?
