Hi Jim,
Depends where you're getting boards made - many places now do cheap
proto runs & I'm sure prices have come down a lot the last years
For example - www.myropcb.com - plug in 10x8" --> sub $100 for 5 boards
in 5 days (+$35 shipping) or even less for 10day.
(that's 2layer, lead-free HASL, green soldermask, silk-screen on top side)
