I've been looking at the Minimoog service manual and I can't figure out 
why they designed the filter EG slightly differently to the VCA EG. The 
sustain level section and the output are different. Also the resistor 
going from the output to flip flop reset input is lower in value, so I 
guess the attack level would be lower than for the VCA EG, and this is 
why they adjusted the sustain circuit, but I don't know why they changed 
the output buffer.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind this?
