[sdiy] Analog Devices VCAs (VGAs)?

Hi,
has anyone used the AD line of VCAs (called by AD VGAs, or Variable
Gain Amplifiers)? I wonder if they could be a useful alternative to
the SSM2164.

Yes, they cost ten times more in bulk. But maybe they're worth it,
depending on features?

For quad VGAs there are AD8264 and AD8334 as well as AD8335.
