I largely agree, Tom (Headmaster Fritz is probably gonna rap our knuckles
with his slide rule).  I used the "Excelsior" version or TL072 in a few
places in the Rubicon core because I added a couple of extra opamps in the
current chain over the Dixie design (to be able to do some fancy things with
hard sync) and was worried that the slews would add up to additional
tracking error.  Otherwise, I'd have stuck with TL072.  It's never let me
down before (although there seems to be some compelling reasons to go with
different opamps in audio circuits, such as 5532).
