Indeed, I had wanted to say the same thing once I got home.
Furthermore: by exploring this idea, even if it IS rediscovering
something that exists already, you gain an unique point of view on
that concept. This is very important, as it may lead to yet further
developments in that direction - the momentum of discovery, so to
speak.
For example, if you accept the light bulb as granted, you'll never
invent the vacuum tube... even if the light bulb exists already... Be
creative and unhindered by preconceptions, Roman, you'll certainly get
support from all of us the whole way!
