no freaks with uzi or m16 (ever so far), no kid is wearing a gun, knives
are not so common at all, drugs are visible sometimes but not in
insolent way.
If you're asking about level of education, well... comparing to what
I've heard about US schools, it's like Harvard. At least it used to be
before prosperity killed common resourcefulness and standards have
dropped down.

you need visa for more than 90 days stay, and work permit. To get that
it may be probably sufficient to have your Polish employer statement.
Starting a business here... well, that's a lot easier than 20 years ago,
but still may seem like a brick wall for a foreigner.
