Yes.  In Canada, this is simply not a concern.  We pay higher taxes, but we
all get covered.  Our healthcare system has its challenges to be sure, but a
member of my family has been making extensive use of the healthcare system
here for the last six months (cancer), and the treatment has been first-rate
in every way.

Americans can continue to believe the propaganda of their right-wing
nut-jobs and tea-party crackpots, or just ask a Canadian (or Australian, or
Norwegian, or just about anybody from just about any other industrialized
nation).  The sad thing is that we in Canada probably have one of the least
good systems of any of those non-American countries in terms of wait-times
and efficiency, and yet it is still pretty awesome.
