Hm, the Windows free version normally supports only one schematics page - but this page without a size limit.

So my solution was to place 4 A4L frames on this one schematics page (2x2 pattern) and use a scale factor of 
1.55 to print it out as 4 individual A4 landscape pages...

Even the free version can do multiple "pages".  I did this once on a very dense surface-mount board within the free PCB limits, ended up on nine A4 pages when printed out.
