[sdiy] XR2206 synth ideas?

Yeah, I have a couple of XR VCOs that work great on 15V, but then I
ran into a BUNCH of 2206 chips that would put out nothing but RF hash
until you got the supply below 12V. Usually around 10 to 11V was good.
It might have to do with the way the chip sinks or sources current
(wild guess). I finally found some at Tayda that worked on 15V, but I
don't trust any 2206 chips these days until I actually test them.
