[sdiy] MIDI-CV retrofit

It's not difficult to make all of this switchable.
I'd have a selector switch for each gate source, with an added OR mode and an added AND mode for when you want to combine them.
Likewise switchable selection with optional summing for the CV ins.
Point is musically, there is no one correct solution. Sometimes you'll want to merge the gates, sometimes you won't.
Considering the circuitry is trivial, adding a set of combination options and choosing between them when you need them seems more useful than hardwiring one solution and getting frustrated when it doesn't do what you need.
Also, the point of a modular is to be open-ended and creative. Hardwiring specifics is not open-ended.
If you keep everything separate and switchable as needed, you can do things like run a MIDI sequence through one set of modules and trigger a long filter sweep from the keyboard. Etc.

You press a key on the keyboard and a "note off" event of your MIDI interface comes 10 msecs later - what should the system do? Do you want an "and" or an "or" implementation of MIDI events and so on.
