I still don't understand, why he does not simply adopt the capacitor to 
the existing potentiometer, to get the original speed (C21 in the 
earlier or C24 in the later version). If he has an working potentiometer 
with 100k, which suits the knob, then he simply has to increase the cap 
value to 68uF and he is done.
