In the J8 schematic posted earlier, I think the 0.47uF value gives a cutoff at 3.4Hz with the 100K input resistor, so that's not a problem in this case. It's definitely worth pointing out though. Under-spec'd DC blocking caps turn up all over the place, in gear designed by people who you'd have thought knew better!
