Interesting package Sox. I have looked at AWave, but it's kind of odd.
For my purposes the data chips are actually 16-bits wide but the most
significant nibble is always zero. This is the Kawai R100 drum machine,
but other 12-bit machines of the era are similar. I have sorted out the
u-law thing that Linn/Oberheim/360/SCI/Drumulator(?) used, but I see Sox
handles that as well.
