National Instruments do a range of USB data acquisition products. Try
searching for "NI DAQ"
The USB6009 for instance is quite cheap and has eight single-ended (or 4
differential) 13-bit inputs, and two 12-bit outputs. There are likely
to be other products that have better output spec if that's what you're
looking for, so check through the product range. The DC specification
of a proper instrumentation grade DAC will be far better than an audio
CODEC bodged to work down to DC!
