David,

The stuff I've used for years professionally on PCBs is Dow Corning
738 RTV.  Damn good stuff, safe on PCBs and other electrical circuits.
 It vulcanizes at room temperature so no need for the rather smelly
and corrosive acetic acid. It does generate small amounts of alcohol
when curing though, so it's not entirely odour-free.
