hi Tom,

decay time depends on R_D_pot + (because in series)  R_source of the  
sustain "voltage source". If this source resistance would be 0
( eg. by using a second voltage follower = TL082) there would be no dependancy
between the S- and the D-pot. A 10k pot might be a good compromise,  
but I would rather spend 10cents more for a TL082 and have all the  
pots with equal values...
