Get a pair of metre sticks and turn your bike upside down. Now with the tyre valve on your right, hold one horizontal in line with the wheel spindle and start measuring the height of the valve above or below the line as you spin the wheel. You construct a sine wave and how fast you pedal is your angular velocity :-D
