[sdiy] dsPIC in a 40 pin DIP

 Guys

 I use the dsPIC30F4013.. it is a 40 pin DIP.  Although a bit more costly,
 this series has the built-in EEPROM and runs on standard +5v.

 In my current project, the PIC runs a dual 12 bit DAC for oscillator
 output/control, uses the 4 PWM generators to produce control voltages
 (after some Bessel filters) for PWM modulation, Filter frequency, Q and
 VCA  and there are still pins for MIDI in/out, control pots, selector switches
 and the LCD interface.
