I know what you mean, I gave up trying to get his UART (6402) cpu-less MIDI - to CV converter to work properly.
Most of my early music projects from ETI, PE all turned into AM radios ! ( I think the designers were HAM/SWl'rs ;-
they needed RF decoupling usually.) The Canadian version of ETI was run by one overworked dude named Steve Rimmer and were full or errors...I don't think he ever tested his projects. Still it was fun to learn.
