Never had any luck with those plastic breadboards, I'm a bit of a klutz & 
things pull out, or I drop the board etc.
I use vero, just solder it together.. then when it doesn't work, at least I 
know it isn't a bad contact.
And once a vero proto is working, well you have an actual device. Which 
might be useful ;-D
