Terry,

Have you considered eliminating the tempco using a chip thermostat, or
alternatively, active compensation with measurements of the die
temperature? You need a larger array, but I wonder if 3-4 transistor
arrays (as opposed to duals) are at this point better future proofing
than precision spec resistors, even in surface mount. I'm thinking of
the THAT arrays, I guess.

There's some good info on these techniques that can be found online
with a bit of searching. I can dig some of that up from old bookmarks
if you're interested. I don't have experience with it myself, but it's
something I've wanted to try for a while now.
