[sdiy] Quad VCA design

Hi All,

I have finally used the last of my SSM2020 devices on my boards and it is time to re-design the Quad VCA and Universal Active filter modules.

I was looking at the LM13600/LM13700 and THAT Corp. VCA devices.

Any thoughts on those devices vs. other methods of building a Solid VCA design?

I have not had to re-build these modules for over 25 years, so I get to explore a whole new analog approach again.


I will not use the Grey Market SSM's if I can help it, but Rochester Electronics seem to have SSMSSM 2014/ SSM2018, SSM2122 devices.

Any thoughts?
