Has the op amp book by Sergio Franco been mentioned yet? It's got some
stuff directly relevant to synth DIY but should be considered as geared
more towards the mathematically inclined person in sharp contrast the
Horowitz and Hill.
"Op Amps for Everyone" by Carter and Mancini is something more along the
lines of practical applications. An old version is available for free as
a PDF.
And then there's "Small Signal Audio Design" by Douglas Self. I'd say
that for building complete audio systems it'a very valuable resource.
I quite like it.
