Had a closer look. Love the idea and the possibilities.
One way I would improve upon it: part it out into separate modules.
Have a module to add sprites, have one to add parallax, one to mix
layers, one to do textures that can later be put into the parallax...
lots of fun could be had this way! You could have an image input into
the sprite module, so that you can put anything on a sprite. For
example, a video animation playing from youtube.. Or the output image
of the positioned sprite itself, for that recursive "fractal" effect
:) Another module for world geometry and collision.. another for just
positioning stuff, and so on.
Also, another thought: notice the part where he creates "world
geometry". I would love if we could put the output on a touchpad, and
have this geometry respond to touch, and send out voltages. Voltage
controlled user interfaces... fun or fun?
