Heya Terry,
I'd be interested in 1 or 2 more ToneCores, but I'm really having
trouble with the tools. I got a few errors installing Symphony Studio
on Windows 7 64-bit. I tried to run it anyway and it won't start
up... It leaves a log file in
C:\symphony-studio\eclipse\configuration\ (huge number).log.
The log file is mainly java messages. I think the relevant one is:
org.osgi.framework.BundleException: The bundle could not be resolved.
Reason: Missing Constraint: Bundle-RequiredExecutionEnvironment:
CDC-1.0/Foundation-1.0,J2SE-1.3
iiuc, CDC is part of the USB communication. Anyway, if you or anyone
else knows how to run this on Windows 7, it would be groovy and I
would love to get into the Tone Core development. I have one already
at home, but had these same errors about 18 months ago when I first
tried it... Since then I've been working with FV-1 from Spin Semi
and my own system, the Aristocrat (which is based on STM32F1 from
leaflabs and the AudioCodecShield from Open Music Labs).
