[sdiy] Noob SMT Soldering Question

I've done on .65mm pitch TSSOP solder job, still don't know if it works...

Anyway, that wasn't too physically hard and I want to do a .4mm pitch
package (TQFP I believe, either 64 or 100 pins).  

Any advice?
