Hi Justin,

I second what Paul said.

If it were me I'd use a class AB amp IC designed to run from a 9V 
supply. Either a bridge mode amp IC or a stereo amp that can be run in 
bridge mode.
If you really want to use a discrete design with a dual rail supply 
check out the Mean Well DC-DC converter modules. It will cost a lot more 
and take up a lot more space.
