I wonder if the difference between 50 Hz and 60 Hz is responsable for the
difference between classic British sound and Classic US sound. Maybe I need
a 60 to 50 Hz converter for power.
50:60 is not one of the standard musical intervals so scales would be
affected differently based on the power source.
To start the discussion, tube amps (and other power supplies) using
identical transformers, rectifiers, filters, etc. would have more sag at 50
Hz then 60 Hz this could subtly change the sound.

P.S. This could also mean that us US'ers and you Europeans may be hearing
different things out of the old synths.
