Hi Jim!
Welcome back to synth-diy. You've gone a long way and it's great that
you're here.

If you want some good synth modules, I suggest Ken Stone's CGS, and
Yusynth. They sound good and are well described.

If you're looking for diy kits.. I believe Doepfer sells their modules
as DIY, don't they?

Bear in mind that in the end you'll be building modules that do dual
rail 15V supply anyways, so it might be a good idea to think about it
right now.

Also, personally I prefer dotcom or larger formats and 1/4",
differential signaling. However, some people prefer eurorack format,
which is very prolific (every modular manufacturer does eurorack in
addition to other formats), that uses 1/8". I find eurorack too tiny
and finicky though. YMMV, if you're looking to do something that'll
work for the next 200 years do 1/4".

There's a lot of DIY resources around. The muffwiggler forums are
good, and for general synth news matrixsynth is pretty good too.
There's the diyaudio forum too.

Regarding PCBs, it's fairly simple and cheap to get your PCBs done by
a factory nowadays, so consider doing that. Ourpcb is one name off the
top of my head, but I'm sure others can suggest better pcb fabs.

Hope this keeps you busy for now. :)

Cheers,
D.
