Just as an aside, I was just looking this book up on Amazon, and I realized
that these are the same Korns who compiled the Mathematical Handbook for
Scientists and Engineers. This is a major tome which was one of the
standard math references for technical professionals for many years. My
wife's uncle, who was a senior engineer for Chrysler in Ohio, gave me his
beloved copy several years ago.
