[sdiy] Sawtooth vs. Triangle core VCOs

I have made many a sine by crushing a triangle - typically by overdriving a 
LM13700 or similar -
and looking at those scope shots on youtube, the moog ones there are 
definitely no better.
In fact they look rather misshapen compared to a mathematical sine.

. Nothing wrong with that, though - I am a firm believe that ears trump 
scopes
when it comes to subjective 'purity'. I have known very strange looking
pointy-headed sines that sounded perfectly OK.
