First thing that comes to mind is that triangle cores don't suffer from
the cap discharge time, which tends to make the VCO go flat at higher
frequencies.
I would also think it's easier to do through zero on a triangle core if
that's your thing. You can also do wave reverse sync on a triangle as
opposed to wave reset sync on a saw.
