LOLZ. The fetishism for hand-wiring is at times a bit ridiculous.

Admittedly, a beautifully and meticulously hand-wired piece of equipment
is going to be better off than something with complete crap circuit
boards ("Stolec" VOX amps, anyone?) but that's kinda gaming the
comparison.....
