I suppose they could be used to build filters, balanced modulators,
and perhaps envelope generators. I'm not sure what you would do for
an oscillator. They are basically just a collection of integrators
and multipliers. I believe the heart of the integrator is a very
accurate operational amplifier. If you have LTspice, there is an
analog computer simulator you might find interesting.
