For a second I thought the 10 in the image meant the serial number was
actually 10. That might have warranted some collector's value. Nope,
they're just blanking out the lower digits.

"Low serial number 107XXX made in Japan."

And then on the next line

"(serial is covered for privacy reasons)"

Yeah, because someone might, erm, open a bank account in your name if
they knew the serial. Right? Or more realistically break into to your
house and look at your pedal to confirm which auction you won. My ass.
