I haven't seen the original post, but "AC" and "pedals" doesn't sound 
right to me.  I'm not saying you don't get AC-powered effects units - 
old Alesis kit springs to mind - but the vast majority of *pedals* take 
DC, particularly if they can run off batteries.

What exactly are you trying to power?  Does it *really* need AC?

Make sure you're checking for horses (try the frozen foods section of 
Tesco), not zebras...
