[sdiy] Tying down unused Transistor pins?

TX was often used for a transformer on older schematics.

In old CRT TVs the LOPTX (pronounced loptex) was the line output 
transformer.

I'd always tie the unused pins to the substrate. Which is not always the 
negative supply for the 3046 because of it's fairly low breakdown voltage.
