Hi Tom,
Your replies are always appreciated..

I chose not to check for over-voltages.. specially for the
digital +5vdc since if it goes too high the uP won't like that
long enough to show a High voltage malfunction on its LED.. ;-(
As you stated I could have chosen +2.5vdc as a ref for the A/D.
Again I was more interested in the instantaneous values around the 
normal
DC line voltages and down to 0.10v below them.
I use that uP A/D bits much around these values (A/D +ref=+5vdc  
-ref=+4.80vdc).
But, for example, I could have check for too high values and blink
the associated LEDS accordingly.

I just hope this circuit could help
start more elaborated Voltage Monitor projects..
I didn't find anything about this synth oriented
purpose on the web.
