Carbon composition....not really hifi these days but might add some
vintage fluff (a.k.a. noise) to a valve amp. Good for absorbing
transient spikes though. Don't use them where the value needs to be
constant as they absorb moisture and change value. Speaking of which,
5% tolerance is a bit meh these days when 1% metal film resistors are
so cheap.
