There are some tutorial on the net describing how to set up eclipse with 
code sourcery or yagarto, but those don't support the FPU, so I used GNU 
ARM (https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/4.6/2011-q4-major I think)
with compiler flags

"-mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16"
for FPU support.

I think those were the tutorials I used to get started with the discovery board.

My drumsynth is running on a custom board with 2 stereo out and 1 stereo in codec.
Since the F4 has only 2 I2S lines, the 2nd DAC and the ADC share a line and have to be selected via jumper.
