Hi all, before going for a hi-tech approach to a low-tech problem, try removing the tantalum bypass cap right by the regulator, measure its resistance and if it is very low or a short then you have found your problem. I would replace all 4 of the regulator bypass caps with low ESR elctrolytics, I do with every Pro One that comes through here. John.
