I have something similar and would agree.  The best thing about it is that it can hold
an almost infinite number of values and will remain easily sortable.  Mine doesn't look
as good as I use cheap plastic bags and an old wine bottle box, but serves a similar
purpose.

I used to have many fixed size boxes that I had started reasonably organised, but as
in-between values were added to different boxes over time they became way too confusing.
