[sdiy] 780L05 and Sensor Percussion Synth clone...

I'm building a Star/Synare "Sensor" percussion clone from this site:

The BOM asks for a 780L05 (Q2) but I'm having trouble identifying or
finding this part anywhere. Does anyone know what this is or is there a
substitute part available?

Has anyone build one of these? Any interesting mods for it?
