I'm terribly sorry for polluting the list with this junk, I hate it. I
didn't realize this was happening, as Gmail displays the emails it
sends without formatting, and in fixed-width font. This is about the
Android Gmail app on a new phone I have recently bought. This email is
sent via the web interface, which should send out plain-text, as it
was told to. I stupidly assumed that the Gmail app would do what I
told Gmail to do, but apparently the left hand doesn't know what the
right hand is doing at Google.

Upon researching this malfeature I figured out that this bug was
reported as far back as 2009, and was simply ignored by Google. I will
try and find another email client.

Is anyone else posting HTML too? I don't immediately see this unless I
click through to the email source code.

Cheers,
D.
