Yes, that was exactly my point as well.  One can vary the frequency of
pressure in a pipe, but the pipe will still carry the water.  It is an
adequate analogy for a voltage divider, though (or any application of Ohm's
law).

I didn't say they did.  All I meant was that, if one aspires to understand
electronics, one must get pretty darn jiggy with impedance.

(By the way, just as an aside, could we all please submit messages in plain
text to this list?  It makes it so much easier to reply!)
