Which begs the question, why does someone who simply cannot be led to
understand the ramifications of 1/(1+S) need to intuitively understand the
operation of RC filters anyway?  Who is this hypothetical savant who has
such limited analytical skills, and yet also has a deep need to understand
how an RC filter works?  Just tell him that it makes your synthesizer go
"mwrrowww" and be done with it.
