No, absolutely not! It means that he should also try learning the math
required to truly understand the electronics. The most basic algebra will
serve nearly all circuit analysis.

The math required to understand the operation of an RC filter is so easy
that it really isn't worth arguing about.

Of course. However, just because you don't like math doesn't change the
fact that electronics is a branch of engineering, and it requires a certain
amount of math.
