Is that Sergio Franco? I don't have any of his books - Google throws up: "Design with Operational Amplifiers and Analog Integrated Circuits" - is that what you're referring too?

I've found Franco has a much better explanation of log and antilog
circuits, as well as details of the emitter bulk resistance compensation
which is missing in Jung.
